Inside Scoop Launches ‘Rasa-Rasa Malaysia’ Collection For Visit Malaysia 2026

In celebration of Visit Malaysia 2026, Inside Scoop has launched its ‘Rasa-Rasa Malaysia’ collection. Since serving its first scoop in Bangsar, Inside Scoop has been on a journey to explore the flavours that define Malaysia. With the ‘Rasa-Rasa Malaysia’ collection, the brand brings this journey to life, inviting Malaysians to rediscover the country’s culinary heritage one scoop at a time.

The limited-time collection features six new flavours representing the unique tastes, ingredients, and stories of various states in Malaysia, ranging from the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur and the heritage corners of Melaka to the historic sites of Johor, the earthy landscapes of Kelantan, the breezy highlands of Pahang, and the lush rainforests of Sarawak.

“Every state in Malaysia has a story and a specific taste that defines ‘home’,” said Edmund Tan, Co-Founder of Inside Scoop. “We hope these flavours serve as the catalyst that inspires your next trip to sample the local magic of our states firsthand,” he added.

The Rasa-Rasa Malaysia collection uses authentic and essentially Malaysian key ingredients that define the palate of each state. The six flavours include:

  • Affogato (Johor): A tribute to Muar’s legendary Liberica “Elephant Bean”. Known for its bold aroma and rich intensity, this local powerhouse is swirled into a creamy affogato that celebrates Johor’s famed coffee heritage.
  • Dark Chocolate Banana (Kelantan): Showcasing the East Coast’s finest harvest, award-winning Kelantanese 70% dark chocolate meets the creamy sweetness of ripened berangan bananas for a decadent balance of bitter and sweet. This flavour represents the earthy charm of Kelantan.
  • Dodol Musang King (Melaka): Melaka’s heritage meets the King of Fruits. The chewy, caramel soul of traditional dodol durian is enhanced with Musang King for a dessert that is rich and unapologetically indulgent.
  • Gula Apong Tiramisu (Sarawak): A homage to Borneo’s “Black Gold”. This tiramisu-inspired creation features a thick ribbon of Sarawakian palm sugar, bringing a unique and smoky caramel profile found nowhere else in the world.
  • Moola Chocomalt Kaw Dinosaur (Kuala Lumpur & Selangor): The nostalgic taste of a Malaysian childhood. Inspired by the classic mamak order across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, this extra “kaw” ice cream is creamy, indulgent, and over-the-top in all the right ways.
  • Strawberry Lemonade (Pahang): A refreshing escape to the breezy highlands. Zesty lemon ice cream is blended with Cameron Highlands strawberries, capturing the freshness of the hills and offering a light, refreshing treat perfect for any tropical day.
Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur Recognised As First Five-Star Malaysian Heritage Cuisine Hotel

Every single scoop of ‘Rasa-Rasa Malaysia’ ice cream will be served in a custom-designed cup sleeve featuring illustrations inspired by each state, making it a fun keepsake while enjoying the flavours. Customers can enjoy the flavours individually or bring home the limited-edition Rasa-Rasa Pack (RM70), which is perfect for sharing the tastes of Malaysia with family and friends.

Additionally, with every purchase of the Rasa-Rasa Pack, customers will receive a limited-edition Ice Cream Passport, encouraging them to travel between various Inside Scoop outlets for a fun stamp rally. Each participating outlet features its own unique stamp design, turning every stop into a cultural adventure as customers collect stamps in their passport.

The ‘Rasa-Rasa Malaysia’ collection is available at all Inside Scoop outlets nationwide from 6th April 2026 until 11th May 2026. For more information on the new flavours, check out Inside Scoop’s Instagram.
