Cue the tears! Cube Entertainment label mates PENTAGON’s Jinho (진호) as well as BTOB members Sungjae (성재 ) and Hyunsik (현식) have officially enlisted in the military today (Monday, 11th May).
As we’ve covered before, the three artistes are listed among the five K-pop acts that are enlisting this month. According to Soompi, the three of them will undergo four weeks long of basic military training before serving the country as active-duty soldiers.

Earlier, Jinho took to the group’s official Twitter account to bid his fans goodbye. He wrote, “I’ll be back!! Don’t get sick and take care. Love y’all.” Meanwhile, Hyunsik posted a selfie of him on his Instagram story along with the caption that reads, “I love you Melodies (BTOB’s fandom name)”.
Interestingly, all of the BTOB and PENTAGON teammates were also seen sending Hyunsik, Sungjae, and Jinho off at the bootcamp entrance, as they embraced the enlisting members with warm hugs. For those interested, watch these heartfelt clips of them here:
