Although she tends to share a lot about her professional and personal life, the business owner rarely flaunts her wealth on social media despite being a millionaire.
Yes, she has shared luxurious purchases in the past, but we’ve notice a shift of focus in her social media postings. In her recent IG Story, the celeb explained why people should refrain from showing off their privilege on social media.
Earlier today (Friday, 19th April), Nur Sajat wrote, “Not everyone will think positively of you. Many will be envious and furious when you show them every luxurious thing that you own. When it comes to social media, just share the regular, ordinary things. Keep the extraordinary to yourself or otherwise people will come for you.” As seen in the screenshot above, the mother-of-two also encouraged her followers to chime in on the subject.
At the time of writing, Sajat has yet to share the replies she’s received from her followers but this topic has got us wondering if she was referring to a specific individual. Even in our local scene, there are many rich celebrities and influencers (Aliff Syukri and DS Vida, we’re looking at you) who take every opportunity to show off their money and wealth.
If there’s one thing about the famous businesswoman, she’s not one to start drama with anyone. Perhaps it’s just a general reminder for everyone to think carefully before posting anything on social media.
