The time has finally arrived for MONBEBEs (MONSTA X fans) to see their group reunited as one and begin creating music that everyone knows and loves. With MONSTA X’s (몬스타엑스) upcoming 10th anniversary “2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X” concert taking place from 18th July (Friday) to 20th July (Sunday), fans are already bursting with excitement for a new release.
Now, with the promise of their first album since December 2021, anticipation for the group’s return has grown stronger than ever. This concert not only marks their first full-group performance in 3 years, but also opens the door to a thrilling new chapter in their 10-year run. Fans are eagerly awaiting both the live experience and the fresh music set to follow.

Since all members returned from their mandatory military service in May 2025, they have quickly been rebuilding momentum, beginning with the release of “Now Project Vol. 1“, a day after member Hyungwon (형원) was discharged from his service. The album offered fan-favourite songs with a refreshing new take that shows their growth over the years. The group also hosted a live stream reunion, bringing all six members together online.
In an interview ahead of the concert, when asked about updates on their comeback album, main vocalist Kihyun (기현) confirmed that they had already finished recording the album and have been waiting for the right moment to release it. “We’re already preparing for our comeback. We already finished recording a long time ago. I can’t tell you the exact time frame, but within the company, the date has already been set. A significant portion [of the comeback] has already been prepared.”

Eager to keep fans on their toes, Joohoney (주헌) cheerfully revealed that MONSTA X’s new album will drop in September 2025. “I’ll just tell you the month when our new album will be released,” he stated. “It’s coming out in September. It’ll be released as quickly as possible.” His hint immediately sparked excitement among MONBEBEs eager for new music.
Soon after the revelation, Starship Entertainment shared the album’s first concept photos on the group’s official social media. The images feature a colour scheme that matches the concert posters, creating a bold and unified look. With sharp visuals and an intense atmosphere, the concept captures MONSTA X’s signature energy. The countdown to September is officially on.
