It’s been about a week since influencer-entrepreneur View Chin was lambasted for allegedly cheating on his wife, Shermine Hau with employee Amirah Aqilah aka Mira. The duo have both shared their sides of the story, with View refuting the claims while Shermine piled on the heat. But Mira herself was nowhere to be seen.
However, that supposedly changed over the weekend. Netizens were surprised to discover an Instagram account, claiming to be Mira’s, giving a public apology. But, some fans have remained skeptical of the account and her alleged apology!
The apology was uploaded in a post on 23rd April. “I, Amirah Aqilah Firdaus, want to apologise to Miss Shermine, Sylvia, Scarlett and Shyane for what has happened. I regret and admit my mistakes,” the apology read. However, it didn’t end there.
“But, my relationship with View Chin began after they have officially divorced,” Mira supposedly added. “Not when they were still together, as is (being claimed now). I have nothing to do with their divorce.” The post ended with a statement, claiming she accepts all criticism with an open heart and another apology.
However, netizens weren’t exactly happy with said apology. Several claimed she had no shame, while others continued to go after her character. Some also demanded to know about the alleged Bali trip mentioned by Shermine, with a few asking what they had done on the trip.
According to China Press, Mira’s friends claimed the account does not actually belong to the live hostess, leading some to suspect it is a fake account being run by someone pretending to be her. Still, curiously enough, Mira’s known account has since gone inactive, with its last post being from 14th April.
A few other photos have popped up on Mira’s alleged account since, showing the live hostess enjoying her Raya. But, netizens have yet to stop lecturing her on her alleged actions. Well, Mira might have publicly apologised but it seems forgiveness is still a long way off for her.
