Being in the public eye is never easy, especially for a celebrity. Chinese-American actor Michael Wong (王敏德) was recently asked about his daughters’ latest controversy when he attended the EFG Hong Kong Ladies Open Pro-Am at Fanling Hong Kong Golf Club.
He was point blank on his daughters – Kayla Wong (王曼喜) and Irisa Wong (王麗嘉) – posting nude photos of themselves on social media.
“I think it’s getting worse and worse,” the 54-year-old actor said as he shook his head. “It’s good for men,” fellow Hong Kong star Natalis Chan (陳百祥), who was beside Michael during the interview, chimed in.
“It’s good for you, but bad for me,” Michael replied. “Being a dad is difficult. Some friends asked me if those photos are of my daughters, and I was so embarrassed!”
Despite the awkward situation, the father-of-3 tries to be supportive of his daughters’ decisions. “I can accept it. Irisa signed with a lingerie brand, so she needs to wear sexy clothing. I’m proud of my daughter because she’s very happy and hardworking. She’s following her mom’s footsteps of being a model, and she’s doing a good job,” Michael added.
