After years of speculations, Hong Kong-born star William Chan (陈伟霆) and Chinese model Sui He (何穗) have confirmed their romance – through the birth of their son! The couple recently welcomed their first child together, simultaneously confirming the years-long dating rumours.
On 18th October 2025 (Saturday), William and Sui He took to social media to announce the birth of their first child, a baby boy. The couple posted separate photos of them holding up an ultrasound baby scan with the captions, “Dad, mum and him”. Additionally, the pair shared photos of Sui He showing off her baby bump and of them carrying the baby. However, William and Sui He didn’t disclose when their child was born.
Nevertheless, the announcement received tons of enthusiasm from fans, who quickly congratulated the two. William and Sui He have been plagued with dating rumours since 2021. The couple was spotted going on dates and holidays together and there were also rumours of them living together after they were seen returning to the same residence. However, neither party has confirmed the allegations until now.
The sudden announcement also sparked debate about celebrity relationships in the Chinese and Hong Kong entertainment industry. Many were curious how William and Sui He were able to transition from dating rumours to confirmed parenthood without the public’s knowledge. Some also questioned how the model was able to hide her pregnancy. However, it’s worth noting that Sui He hasn’t been active on social media in the past few months.
