Rooted in expressive design movements and a bold approach to colour, RIMOWA has introduced Orange and Magenta to its Essential and Groove ranges – two distinctive seasonal shades that channel individuality, creative expression, and the joy colour brings to everyday life.
Arriving just in time for a season of bright getaways, the hues draw on the optimistic spirit of Pop design. Orange radiates a vibrant, energetic glow, capturing the exhilaration of new experiences, while Magenta, a deep and luminous fuchsia, captures a sense of curiosity and playful sophistication.
Together, the two shades deliver a dynamic that is eclectic, energetic, and unmistakably expressive. In the accompanying campaign, renowned Spanish actress Rossy de Palma embodies this spirit, extravagantly moving through a vibrantly decorated home filled with carefully curated objects including RIMOWA cases and bags in Orange and Magenta.
The new hues will be available across multiple sizes of RIMOWA’s Essential suitcase, from the compact Cabin to the expansive Trunk Plus. Crafted from premium polycarbonate, the Essential range is expertly colour-matched for a seamless, monochromatic appearance. The Maison’s heritage craftsmanship combined with cutting-edge technology, is evident throughout the suitcase’s design. This includes RIMOWA’s stage-free telescopic handle, Multiwheel system, TSA-approved locks, and a complimentary leather address tag. Once opened, the Essential range features a dual organisation interior. One side is equipped with a fully zipped compartment to contain all belongings, while the other includes RIMOWA’s signature Flex Divider, a compression system allowing travellers to pack more whilst remaining organized. As with all RIMOWA suitcases, the Essential collection is backed by the German Maison’s lifetime guarantee.
The colour-matching extends beyond the suitcase. The Groove Cross-Body Bag Small in Orange, made in Italy from soft, smooth calf leather, complements the suitcases with effortless elegance. Its removable and adjustable strap, as well as its Classic suitcase-inspired handle allow versatile wear as a cross-body, shoulder bag, or handbag, making it a perfect companion for travelling.
Coinciding with this launch, the Groove collection expands with additional colourways. The Groove Cross-Body Bag range introduces serene Chalk and warm Cognac hues, while a refreshed Groove Shopping Bag design, will now also be offered in a rich Burgundy.
