Since MCO began once more, it comes as no surprise that certain businesses will either close down or temporarily shut down operations, and that includes Maybank. It was reported that around 69 Maybank branches are temporarily closed due to the MCO and to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to Maybank’s Twitter account, its temporal closure was to ensure that customers and employees remain safe during these tough times.

#MBBAlert (1/3)
In light of the MCO, we are temporarily revising our branch operating hours while some branches will not be operational, from 14 Jan 2021. This is to ensure our customers’ and employees’ safety.
