Planning a trip to Thailand? Travellers may soon have more places to stay! Marriott International has signed a major agreement with FICO Corporation to introduce seven hotels across Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket, bringing more accommodation options to some of Thailand’s most popular destinations.
The new hotels are expected to add 1,262 rooms across the three destinations, featuring everything from luxury stays to modern, affordable accommodation.
The expansion will also mark the first arrival of three Marriott brands in Thailand: citizenM, Four Points Flex by Sheraton and Series by Marriott.
Bangkok Is Getting Five New Hotels
Bangkok will welcome five of the seven planned hotels, each offering something different for travellers visiting the city.

One of the biggest auditions is JW Marriott Bangkok Sathorn, a luxury hotel expected to feature 288 rooms. Beyond comfortable accommodation, the hotel will focus on wellness and lifestyle experiences, with sports and fitness facilities alongside spaces where guests can relax and connect.
Meanwhile, citizenM Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 will introduce the citizenM brand to Thailand for the first time. The 147-room hotel will combine modern design, smart technology and a food and beverage venue in Bangkok’s lively Sukhumvit district.
For travellers who prefer convenient and practical stays, Marriott is also bringing three Four Points Flex by Sheraton hotels to Bangkok.
The upcoming properties include:
- Four Points Flex by Sheraton Bangkok Sukhumvit 8: 162 rooms
- Four Points Flex by Sheraton Bangkok Sukhumvit 14: 130 rooms
- Four Points Flex by Sheraton Bangkok Surawong-201 rooms
All three hotels are planned near Bangkok’s BTS Skytrain network, making it easier for guests to travel around the city.
The Four Points Flex brand focuses on comfortable, reliable and affordable stays, making it suitable for travellers who want convenience without unnecessary extras.
Pattaya And Phuket Welcome A New Marriott Brand
The expansion is not limited to Bangkok. Two of Thailand’s popular holiday destinations, Pattaya and Phuket, will also welcome new hotels under Marriott’s Series by Marriott brand.

Designed to offer comfortable and approachable accommodation, the brand focuses on providing reliable stays while reflecting the local character of each destination.
The two upcoming hotels are:
- Easy Planet North Pattaya, Series by Marriott- 192 rooms
- Easy Planet Phuket Patong, Series by Marriott- 142 rooms
Both properties will mark the brand’s debut in Thailand, giving travelers more accommodation choices when planning their next beach holiday.
Marriott And FICO Expand Their Partnership
The seven-hotel agreement builds on Marriott International’s existing partnership with FICO Corporation, which already includes four hotels in Bangkok.
These properties are Hotel Muse Bangkok, Autograph Collection; Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok Townhall Sukhumvit; Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit; and Metropole Bangkok, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel.
With the latest expansion, the two companies are expected to have a combined portfolio of 11 hotels across eight brands in Thailand.
Rajeev Menon, President of Marriott International for Asia Pacific excluding China, shared that the expansion reflects the companies’ shared vision of creating hotel experiences that match changing travel preferences with a stronger focus on lifestyle, wellness, and meaningful connections.
Meanwhile, Krit Srichawla, Chairman of FICO Corporation, highlighted the growing importance of wellness, sports and lifestyle in hospitality, adding that the partnership aims to create spaces that benefit both travellers and local communities.
