Wardrobe malfunctions happen to all of us every once in a while, and the same goes for your favourite K-pop idols. Just recently, BLACKPINK member Jennie (제니) suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction during a recent concert.
BLACKPINK held their “Born Pink World Tour” concert in Dallas, Texas. During the performance of the song “Lovesick Girls”, the girls were clad in matching marching band-style outfits. In particular, Jennie was also wearing a short dress underneath the jacket.
During the performance, however, it appears that the 26-year-old idol was having a little problem with her outfit, as her skirt kept flying up due to the strong wind fan. She was quite embarrassed by this unexpected situation. Luckily, Jennie also wore a pair of shorts underneath her skirt, so she was able to avoid a really embarrassing situation from happening.
Despite the unexpected mishap midway through the performance, Jennie still continued performing with her fellow members like a true professional! The photos and videos capturing the “wardrobe accident” immediately caught the attention of many fans and netizens. In this case, some even likened it to Marilyn Monroe’s iconic white dress scene in the movie “The Seven Year Itch”.
