BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) member Lisa (리사) keeps grinding – and she’s showing no signs of slowing down. After winning Best K-pop at the MTV VMAs 2024 and being announced as one of the performers for the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the K-pop idol will soon embark on her first solo fan meeting tour.
LLOUD recently announced the dates for Lisa’s first solo fan meet-up tour, which will take place in November. According to the poster, the singer will only visit five cities – Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kaohsiung and Hong Kong. Unfortunately, the agency hasn’t released many details about the tour. However, the BLACKPINK member will likely showcase her solo releases, including her upcoming third single. The 27-year-old is reportedly gearing up for an album release, so the tour is also possibly to celebrate that album.

While the tour announcement received tons of enthusiasm from fans, BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans) and Lilies (Lisa fans) in Malaysia were disappointed that Kuala Lumpur wasn’t part of the tour. Many have taken to social media to urge Lisa and LLOUD to consider adding the city to the tour, citing the Thai star’s popularity in the country. Some even pointed out that Malaysian fans were among those who streamed her music the most, so it’s unlikely that she’s skipping the country due to a lack of interest.
Of course, local fans aren’t the only ones who felt snubbed because fans in the Philippines are also wondering why Manila wasn’t part of the tour. BLACKPINK is arguably one of the biggest K-pop acts in the Philippines and has visited the country many times. It’s also worth noting that the Asia tour doesn’t include any South Korean or Japanese cities, which are typically included when a K-pop idol embarks on any tour, either a concert or a fan meeting.

So far, there is no news on whether the “Rockstar” singer will add more dates to her Asia fan meet-up tour. However, if you’re a Malaysian and want to see Lisa in person, your best bet is to try your luck at any of the five tour stops.
