On Friday (26th May), Starship Entertainment’s wide-popular idol girl group SISTAR (씨스타) has finally dropped 2 teaser images for their final group song, titled “Lonely”.
The upcoming track was composed by Black Eyed Pilseung, the producer duo behind SISTAR’s hit songs including “Touch My Body” and “I Like That”.
The simple yet casual black-and-white concept photos feature the girls, who can be seen donning white outfits, showing off their close friendship while smiling sweetly at the camera.
Prior to releasing the teaser images, Starship dropped a special clip (above), titled “Thank you, Good-bye SISTAR”. The short video features a potential look at their music video for “Lonely”.
It also contains a short poem that reads:
“(S)ee you again,
(I)t’s not goodbye.
(S)eparate ways we may go,
(T)o achieve new dreams.
(A)ll the memories together,
(R)emember and cherish forever.”

Starship confirmed SISTAR’s disbandment on Tuesday (23rd May). According to an insider, the girls decided to split because “they each want to individually challenge themselves with other roles”.
Formed in 2010, SISTAR is made up of 4 members – Hyorin, Bora, Soyou, and Dasom. Dubbed the “queens of summer”, the girl group is known for their sexy concept and refreshing summer tracks.
