One of the scariest things in life is how unexpected it can be. One day, you can just be having a normal day, the next, you might encounter the most out-of-the-world experience. No one will know what will happen tomorrow.
According to an exclusive report by China Press, local couple Ms. Zhang and her beau, Mr. Chen were tricked into being unpaid laborers at an industrial park in Myanmar last month. After escaping from this hell and safely returning to the country, the couple decided to tie the knot.
During the 12 days of captivity, the couple went through a lot together. Ms. Zhang shared that they have bonded through their traumatic experience and have found comfort in each other’s presence since. “Being sold as indentured workers then experience life and death together, there’s nothing that can separate us anymore. We’re getting married soon!”
She later added that after this harrowing experience, there would be no other that could try and separate the both of them. The couple has already set a date for their marriage registration, and will be officially tying the knot soon.
