In recent years, the brand has paired iconic Levi’s aesthetics with the quality and sensibility of Japanese craftsmanship, infused with the modernity and energy of today. For its ‘25 Spring/Summer collection, the Levi’s® brand is proud to launch Blue Tab, the most elevated and sophisticated expression of denim leadership.
The Blue Tab collection revisits the brand’s rich history of crafting authentic workwear, seamlessly blending timeless utility with contemporary innovation. Each garment is reimagined using modern fabrics and effortless styling, bridging the past and the future.
Alongside its iconic denim staples, the collection showcases new tops, skirts, and outerwear, all celebrating the art of denim dressing. Each pinnacle essential is crafted with signature Levi’s® details, combining timeless style with modern versatility. Elevated fabrics such as neppy denim, chambray shirting, and lightweight, rich inky-hued selvedge denim bring a refined touch throughout the line.
For men, the Blue Tab collection is rooted in Americana styling. Sophisticated and drapey, the new Marker Loose is brought to life with beautiful, lightweight denim. It can be paired with the Scout Jacket, crafted with a powder blue proprietary selvedge denim created alongside Japan’s Kaihara Denim Mill. This proprietary denim is utilised for modern versions of timeless denim styles, crafted with classic dark denim, including the brand’s icons, the 511® and 502® jeans.
The classic Fishtail Parka, made with lightweight neppy denim shirting and beautiful sundries and construction, features elegant snap detailing. The new Blue Tab Type 1 Jacket is beautifully cropped with an engineered sleeve. For shirts, the new heavyweight Classic White T-shirt is versatile and understated while the Chambray Work Shirt is delivered with beautiful, lightweight chambray with classic workwear details.
For women, the new Blue Tab capsule emphasises sophisticated denim tailoring and feminine craftsmanship. Exuding sophistication, standout pieces include a blazer paired with wide-legged trousers. For a chic all-denim look, the Blue Tab line offers a seamless head-to-toe denim ensemble featuring the Type I-inspired Trucker Jacket and Seamed Skirt, with curved front and dramatic back shapes, crafted from light-wash denim and detailed seaming.
The Utility Dress is a lightweight, drapey reinterpretation of a classic mechanic suit, while the Barn Jacket and Carpenter pants are adorned with chambray lining and collar accents. The collection also includes minimalist women’s shirts, like the Club Shirt with subtle western yoke details and a Denim Work Shirt. The new “Carve Fit” offers a modern silhouette with a straight outseam and shaped inseam that creates a slight bell at the bottom. Ensuring timeless versatility, the collection also features classic fits, such as Column and Barrell jeans.
The new Levi’s® Blue Tab collection utilises beautiful new Blue Tab branding that pays homage to Levi Strauss and Co. history. In the Levi’s® Archives, the Levi’s design team found a stock issuance certificate from 1925 that used a distinct typography for the “Levi Strauss and Co.” font. The logo, used throughout the Blue Tabs’s labelling and packaging, is based on this unique typography.
Even the iconic two-horse patch is revamped with the collection’s distinct branding, making it both elevated and easily recognisable. Everything in the new collection will carry the Blue Tab (or label), so remember to look for the Blue Tab.
Blue Tab, the pinnacle of Levi’s® premium expression, debuts with iconic photography from Juergen Teller. Set against the serene and understated backdrop of a Japanese tea house, his images highlight elevated silhouettes while blending modern sophistication with timeless appeal.
