In conjunction with the release of “The LEGO Movie 2, The Second Part”, LEGO Malaysia is hosting an 10-day consumer event that will introduce the 6 new universes from the movie franchise.
Taking place in Mid Valley Megamall from now until 24th February 2019, this experiential consumer event features attractive and exclusive gift with purchase (GwP) promotion.
The fun-filled event features 6 different universes from “The LEGO Movie 2”, which present an immersive experience into the amazing multiverse, as well as provide an opportunity for families to build something awesome together.
Each zone represent a mission to be completed and when all 6 missions have been completed, participants will receive a special achievement certificate from LEGO Malaysia.
The different zones that participants will get to get to experience include:
DUPLO Planet
For those who have already watched the movie would know that the DUPLO is the villain in the sequel. So in this DUPLO monster workshop, children are welcomed to use their creativity and build their very own monster DUPLO invaders with the help of a LEGO Master Builder!
Systar System
At the Systar System, children (as well as adults) can have an on-screen dance off with some of their favourite characters from the movie in an immersive augmented reality dance game.
Land of Apocalypseburg
Learn how to be a filmmaker by filming your own awesome movie with the LEGO Movie Maker app at the Apocalypseburg zone! Choose a background of your choice, either Apocalypseburg or Systar System, and plan your scenes with the LEGO Movie 2 characters. Place your smartphone on the camera stand and create your own version of “The LEGO Movie 2”!
Alien Jungle
Alien Jungle is basically a building section where guests are allowed to design, spell, and be creative at 2 large walls provided at the event.
Emmet House
Visit Emmet House for some special Instagram-worthy moments. The zone is basically a photobooth for guests to take photos. There is an adorable Emmet statue at the zone, but if that’s not enough, you can meet and greet Emmet during the Mascot appearance which will take place only on 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th February.
Harmony Town
Ever wonder how voice acting works? In the eternally happy place known as the Harmony Town, guests can learn how to become a voice actor by voicing over some of their favourite character from the movie. Just choose your favourite short scene and record your voice. You can also use one of the props in the booth for sound effects.
Special promotion for every purchase of ‘Welcome to Apocalypseburg’ set
LEGO is also offering a special promotion in conjunction with this event.
With every purchase of the ‘Welcome to Apocalypseburg’ set (priced at RM 1399.90), LEGO is giving out a limited-edition Lenticular Emmet Mosaic as a gift with purchase (GWP).
There will also be an adorable heart-shaped Gift with Purchase with any purchase of RM179 or more at the event. These offers are only available at the event in Mid Valley Megamall while stocks last.
