Earlier this year, TWICE members Jihyo (지효) and Sana (사나) made headlines when the two seemingly shared a ‘kiss’ onstage during their two-day concert in Mexico City. While the intimate moment was an optical illusion, the former’s younger sister actually kissed another girl on camera.
Jihyo’s sister, Lee Ha Eum (이하음), made her acting debut as one of the main leads in a GL (Girls Love) K-drama titled “Tendering Resignation”. Following the news, many were eager to learn more about the young star, so here are some fun facts about her:

Talent clearly runs in the family. In addition to acting, Lee Ha Eum is also a skilled dancer. She participated in a TikTok dance challenge with her sister Jihyo for the latter’s solo single “Killin’ Me Good” in 2023. Fans were thrilled to see the talented siblings collaborating and supporting one another.
2. She debuted as a model
Unlike her sister, Lee Ha Eum has yet to express any interest in becoming an idol. Instead, she began her career as a model in 2022. Initially, she went by the stage name Jiyong, which is also her birth name and served as the ambassador for the fashion brand LUXE LFA.
3. She bears some resemblance to BLACKPINK’s Jennie
The minute fans found out about Lee Ha Eum, many have compared her looks to both BLACKPINK’s Jennie and her sister TWICE’s Jihyo saying that she’s a mixture of both idols. What do you think?
4. She is signed under Starhaus Entertainment
Prior to her acting role, the 22-year-old was not signed to any agency until she was recruited by Starhaus Entertainment in 2023. The company announced that the young talent would make her acting debut in 2024, although they did not specify the project until the trailer was released on 26 September (Thursday).
5. She has an Instagram account for her cat
Just like any other pet owner, Lee Ha Eum also started an Instagram account for her beloved British Shorthair named Bbuyo. The page hasn’t been active in a while but it’s still nice to have a digital album of your furry companion.
6. Jihyo sent a coffee truck for her sister to celebrate her debut
As a loving and supportive sister, Jihyo not only visited Lee Ha Eum on set but also sent a coffee truck to celebrate her new career as an actress. She congratulated her younger sibling and thanked the staff for looking after her.
