Is this the birth of another K-Pop couple?
Insiders have revealed that actress Jung Hye Sung and B1A4’s Gongchan are currently seeing each other romantically. However, their agencies have both denied the rumours.
According to reports by Korean media outlet MBN News, they have been dating for a few months. The pair also allegedly kept their relationship under wraps and only close friends knew about the news.
An insider said, “The fact that 2 of them are dating is super secret. I was surprised she was dating him and not Gong Myung. Only really close friends know about this.”
Although they share the same surname, Gong Myung is actually a stage name. Gong Myung and Gongchan are not related in any way. However, Jung Hye Sung is currently paired with Gong Myung in the romantic reality show “We Got Married”.
Reports of the couple’s dating habit have also surfaced, with the media stating that Jung Hye Sung and Gongchan often enjoyed dates with other B1A4 members. They also preferred to date in discreet places like their house or cars.
Despite the detailed reports, both artistes have denied the news through their respective agencies.
WM Entertainment said, “They might have mutual friends but to say they’re in a relationship is false. This is very sudden and honestly dumbfounding.”
Jung Hye Sung’s agency, FNC Entertainment, also responded with a short statement, which read, “The news that she is dating Gongchan is not true at all.”
