Looks like Karata Erika (唐田えりか) has gone missing ever since the internet blew up with the recent story about her scandal with fellow Japanese actor Masahiro Higashide (東出昌大).
Several media outlets have noted that her official portal is no longer accessible, in addition to the fact that she had deactivated her social media accounts, causing everyone to come up with various speculations.
The “Arthdal Chronicles” actress has found herself receiving widespread criticism for being the main cause for Higashide’s separation with his wife, Anne Watanabe. Many suspect that this might be one of the reasons for her to remove herself from social media.
Not only that, several media outlets have also speculated that Erika’s future career in both Korea and Japan might be in jeopardy thanks to her involvement in an adulterous affair with a married man. To quote Koreaboo, the country has a “strong stance against adultery”.
As aforementioned, Erika gained international stardom following her appearance in “Arthdal Chronicles”. She also starred in Girls’ Generation’s music video for their Japanese song “Divine”.
