Social media savvy hip hop fans are going cray cray over Kanye West’s official Instagram account!
After months of “consideration”, the American rapper has finally joined the photo-sharing platform and his first artsy post shows a car driving along the side of a slanted building in the dark. It doesn’t have a caption ’cause you know, he’s Kanye.

As at time of writing, West has gained over 770,000 followers and he is not following anyone, not even his wife, Kim Kardashian, who has over 82 million followers.
Fans of the “Famous” rapper went into a frenzy, with one commenting, “Don’t even know what this post is about and it’s already ICONIC,” while another wrote, “Love you more than Kanye loves Kanye”.
In March, 39-year-old West tweeted a series of statuses that he was considering joining Instagram. He wrote,“My tweets are a form of contemporary art only compromised by people trying to tell me what to tweet and not to tweet. On another note I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only on one condition – no one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram. It’s my art.”
The outspoken musician has released 8 studio albums (including “Yeezus” and “Life Of Pablo”) since his debut in 2004 and he is currently on his “Saint Pablo” tour in America.
