K-pop group CLOSE YOUR EYES (클로즈 유어 아이즈) has recently shared some unfortunate news for their Malaysian fans. Just weeks before their first concert in Kuala Lumpur was to take place, the group announced the show’s cancellation.
On 11th March 2026 (Wednesday), CLOSE YOUR EYES and their agency, UNCORE, shared a cancellation notice for the boy band’s KL show. The group was scheduled to perform at Idea Live Arena on 28th March 2026 (Saturday) as part of their ongoing “BEYOND YOUR EYES” world tour. Unfortunately, the show is now “unavoidably cancelled due to local circumstances”.

In the notice, UNCORE expressed regret over the situation, writing, “We sincerely apologise to all the fans who have been looking forward to the concert, and we will do our best to greet you again with an even better performance in the future.” The agency also shared that the ticketing platform will provide more details on the ticket refund separately.
Unsurprisingly, the announcement received heated reactions, with many fans disappointed over the last-minute cancellation. Fans also slammed UNCORE for cancelling the KL show while still proceeding with the group’s concert in Russia, despite the fan backlash and concern over the group’s safety.

It’s also worth noting that the KL concert faced many issues from the get-go. One issue that fans had was the initial concert date, which fell during Ramadan. The organiser changed the date after backlash from local fans. The concert organiser also faced criticism for announcing ticketing details less than a day before sales opened.
Fantopia has issued a refund notice on its website, noting that the refund process will begin from 23rd March 2026 (Monday) onwards. For more information on the refund, visit the Fantopia website or contact support@fantopia.io.
