Golden Stars (as Jessica’s fans are affectionately known), rejoice! Jessica Jung (제시카) will be making a comeback to commemorate her 10th anniversary since her debut.
In a statement, an employee Coridel Entertainment said, “Jessica is preparing to release an album commemorating her 10th Anniversary. It will be released in early August and she is currently filming music video in Korea. The album will include a song that was written to show her heart to her fans.”
Jessica debuted in August 2007 with SM Entertainment’s Girls’ Generation (소녀시대). Unfortunately, she had to depart from the group in September 2014 due to conflicting schedules. She officially parted ways with SM Entertainment in August 2015. In March 2016, she signed with Coridel Entertainment and released her first solo album, titled “With Love, J”, in May 2016.
The songstress is set to perform alongside former “Running Man” star Kang Gary (개리) at the “KPOP Sensation 2017” Concert at Setia SPICE Arena, Penang this September.
In other news, SM Entertainment confirmed that Girls’ Generation will be releasing their 6th studio album in August. This will be the group’s first album after 2 years since their 5th album, “Lion Heart”.
