Watch lover Jay Z otherwise known as Shawn Carter displayed his passion for watches when he started rapping about them on his track Otis of the Watch the Throne album. Now adding watches to his works, Jay Z unveiled his first collaboration with luxury Swiss brand, Hublot.
The limited edition Shawn Carter by Hublot Classic Fusion is available in either black ceramic or 18k gold and is decked out with a custom 45mm dial and Hublot’s HUB1300 hand-wound movement with a 90-hour power reserve. With the movement visible through the special logo on the front as well a viewing window on the reverse, these fabulous timepieces are limited to only 250 pieces of ceramic and 100 pieces gold.
Shawn Carter by Hublot Classic Fusion black ceramic retails at $17,900 (RM 57, 061) and 18k gold retails at $33,900 (RM108,066) and are available through Jay Z’s upcoming collaboration with Barney’s in New York.
