Rejoice fans! Jay Chou (周杰倫) is set to bring his “Carnival” World Tour to Southeast Asia again. If you recall, the last time the King of Mandopop performed in Malaysia (January 2023), tickets were sold out almost instantly.

As expected, we anticipate this upcoming “Carnival” 2.0 concert selling out like hot cakes again. Apart from his 4 shows in China (namely Fuzhou, Changsha, Shenzhen and Nanjing), record label JVR Music confirmed that the 45-year-old singer has also included Malaysia and Singapore in his list of pitstops.

The last time Jay Chou was here, his concert initially caused controversy. As it turned out, his much-anticipated concert clashed with the ASEAN Football Federation Cup (AFF). As such, football fans were displeased to discover Jay Chou’s concert had taken up space in the stadium. It came to a point where the entertainer offered to postpone his concert. But, luckily for his fans, he didn’t have to.

Some would think that the incident would have marred fans’ concert experience. But, it actually made Jay Chou’s performance all the more precious. In fact, the crowd of 45,000 set a record that night as the highest number of spectators for a Chinese concert!

So mark your calendars peeps, the Jay Chou “Carnival” World Tour details are as follows:

  • Date: 11th -13th October
  • Venue: Singapore National Stadium
  • Date: 26th October
  • Venue: Bukit Jalil National Stadium

Stay tuned for more details.
