Despite her alleged involvement in the JPEX fraud case which has affected others such as Bella Lam and her boyfriend, Malaysian-born actress Jacqueline Ch’ng (庄思敏) seems to have no worries. In fact, she’s currently having a good time travelling around China.
Unbothered by the fraud case, Jacqueline Ch’ng recently took a trip to Shantang Street in Suzhou, Jiangsu. While there, the 43-year-old found something that caught her attention and sparked a surprising declaration from her about wanting to try being a prostitute!
Lately, Jacqueline is no stranger to sharing parts of her life with her followers. In fact, she previously did a show-and-tell with some of her favourite branded bags and watches. Her recent trip to Shantang Street was no different.
The actress took her followers on a tour around the area, seeing the sights and highlighting curiosities which caught her interest. This ranged from pretty hairpins to the many, many snacks they were selling at the stalls. However, Jacqueline’s interest was thoroughly piqued when she spotted a Hanfu rental store.
She could be heard asking the lady how long it would take to get a tailor made Hanfu for herself. To her disappointment, the wait was far too long for her. “I really wanted to change my clothes and try on a different look because this street was the former brothel street,” she explained. “I wanted to try being a prostitute and (offer my services) to people.”
Most fans weren’t thrown off by her odd announcement, and several shared they were simply tickled by her good humour and laughter. Well, all we can say is that Jacqueline Ch’ng is certainly living the wild, bold life.
