The “Datuk’s daughter”, Malaysian-born actress Jacqueline Ch’ng (庄思敏) has not been shy about flaunting her wealth recently. However, it seems even netizens are starting to think she needs to be more cautious when it comes to showing off her prosperity.
Lately, Jacqueline Ch’ng has been parading her riches with much aplomb while chronicling her wealthy life online. Well, her recent move to Hangzhou was no exception, save for the fact she decided to flaunt her Hermes bags and Rolex watches as well!
Since her subsequent marriage and divorce to her ex-husband, Taiwanese businessman Brian Yang (杨秉逸), Jacqueline has been living happily in Hong Kong. But, it seems she recently decided it was time for a change. As such, she moved to a mansion, allegedly worth HK$ 20 million (~RM11.8 million) in Hangzhou, China.
She’s been busy transferring her things over from Hong Kong to China, so, the celeb decided to show off a few more of her things, including her three favourite Hermes bags. The bags, two large and one small, were preserved in mini bags of their own. The smallest bag is supposedly worth HK$ 25 thousand (~RM14 thousand), but she added this was only a small part of her collection.
That wasn’t all she displayed. Jacqueline also pulled out a case which held her favourite Rolex watches, one of which allegedly costs up to HK$ 300 thousand (~RM177 thousand). She also shared with fans some of the household brands she was using in her daily life and more.
While her wealth certainly stunned her followers, it also became a point of concern for many. Several warned her about flaunting her riches, while others advised her to install security cameras to monitor her house afterwards. “You have to be careful,” a netizen urged. “Generally, good people are kind, but there are still bad ones (too).”
But, others opined her branded items might be so common to her, she wouldn’t be afraid of losing them. Still, a few others praised Jacqueline for having good taste in her luxury goods with one even asking: “They are all insured, right?”
Well, Jacqueline Ch’ng is certainly making waves with her luxurious and branded lifestyle! However, like her followers, we do hope she’ll be cautious in sharing more about her wealth in future videos. After all, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
