Global superstar Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/왕잭슨) has received immense praise for his creativity in his musical projects. Apart from music, did you know that he and his team have also created a comic book? Alongside the new “Under The Castle” collection, TEAM WANG Design will be releasing a comic book featuring the adventures of the adorable characters Pumpkie and Spookie.
To celebrate the launch of this latest project, the singer, in collaboration with Resorts World Sentosa, has announced a special event for fans later this October in Singapore. Here are the details so far:
Last month, TEAM WANG Design’s “Under The Castle” project was turned into a haunted house attraction at Universal Studios Singapore for their annual Halloween Horror Nights event, marking it as the first Chinese Intellectual Property (IP) to enter the theme park. According to a poster shared over the weekend, Jackson Wang will be attending the S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa on 13th October for a comic book signing event.
The superstar will also share the inspiration behind the “Under The Castle” comic book, including the conceptualisation of the characters and the stories of their adventures. However, only 20 lucky winners will be selected to attend this intimate session. More details to be announced soon. According to Resorts World Sentosa’s Weibo page, the 30-year-old will also be partying with guests at Adventure Cove Waterpark later that evening so you might still have a chance to catch a glimpse of the superstar in person.
