It’s Time For Colourful Collabs From NOMOS x Orient Watch Company & MARNI x G-SHOCK!

Watches don’t always have to be elegant; sometimes, they can be crazy, colourful – and absolutely awesome. It is a design space that isn’t often explored by typical Swiss luxury brands – hence, foreign labels are picking up the slack and delivering creations that are both practical and playful.

From a timepiece inspired by the lights of Hong Kong, to a watch steeped in the essence of a renowned Italian label, here are two new watches we can’t take our eyes off of.

Club Campus 38 “Neon Day” & “Neon Night”

The German watchmaking brand NOMOS has been known for creating curiously-creative designs. However, the brand’s recent collaboration with Orient Watch Company to create special, limited-edition timepieces is shaking up the scene.

Introducing the Club Campus 38 “Neon Day” and “Neon Night.” Inspired by the neon lights of the Hong Kong cityscape, these dazzling pieces are sure to brighten up your day.

As the name states, the “Neon Day” variant features a turquoise dial, while its “Neon Night” counterpart boasts a deep violet hue. Despite their differences, both watches feature rosy fuchsia indices.

A pair of thin silver arms streak across the watches’ sky-like faces like clouds. In the dark, the hand, markers, and even sub-dial illuminate in a neon purple reminiscent of Hong Kong’s Bauhinia flower.

Despite the aesthetic changes, these variations still feature everything that made the original Club Campus 38 so popular. It can deliver exceptional accuracy thanks to NOMOS’s in-house Alpha calibre, with an additional 43-hour power reserve to boot. You’ll never feel the need to remove these timepieces either, thanks to their soft grey vegan velour remborde velvet straps.

Go Beyond Peak Performance With Garmin's New Forerunner 570, 970, HRM 200, & HRM 600!

With only 33 units each, the Club Campus 38 “Neon Day” and “Neon Night” are available exclusively at Oriental Watch Company’s online website and physical store.

MARNI x G-SHOCK GMD-S5610MA-7ER

Be they digital or analogue, G-SHOCK’s creations make them the undisputed king of casual wristwatches. Furthermore, the brand has become synonymous with durability. This time around, the iconic name has joined forces with the Italian fashion label Marni to give your timepieces a bold new twist.

The new GMD-S5610MA-7ER takes the G-SHOCK watch you know and love and gives it that Italian flare. The entire watch silhouette is covered from end-to-end with the word Marni, alternating between red and black on a white back drop.

The shock- and water-resistant watch makes no technical sacrifices. It has a three-year battery life, a protective mineral glass on the face, a Super Illuminator LED backlight to provide visibility in low light, and an inventive bio-based resin composition.

The watch, which measures 45.7 x 40.5 x 11.9 mm, also features an hourly time signal, a fully-automatic calendar, a countdown timer with a flash alert, and a multi-function alarm.

The MARNI × G-SHOCK GMD-S5610MA-7ER will be available exclusively through Marni’s webstore as well as select Marni locations starting from 6th November.
