Taiwanese band F4 surprised fans after reuniting on stage earlier this year with a performance at Taiwanese band Mayday’s concert. The reunion even sparked rumours that the quartet is preparing for a comeback tour. However, appears the plans may be facing a delay.
In July 2025, F4 reunited and performed together for the first time in 12 years, sending fans into a wave of nostalgia. Following their performance, speculations emerged, alleging that the group will release a new album and hold a comeback tour in 2026. Many believe the album and tour are in conjunction with the group’s 25th anniversary next year. While the band never confirmed the rumours, member Ken Chu (朱孝天) did reveal that F4 had recorded a few songs.

During a livestream after the reunion performance, Ken accidentally revealed that F4 will release a new album. The singer even shared a behind-the-scenes story from the recording session. However, his staff hurriedly stopped him before he could reveal any more secrets and spoil the comeback. At the time, fans were amused by Ken’s loose lips, but there are now reports that F4’s album and tour will be delayed because of the star.
According to a Taiwanese news outlet, the singer’s habit of leaking details about F4’s new music and comeback tour caused concern among the production team. As the team is worried about confidential information getting leaked, they have made urgent adjustments to some of their plans, which include delaying the tour. There are also rumours that Ken has been “suspended” from participating in recording sessions.

B’in Music, which signed F4 right before their reunion performance, have issued a vague response to the rumours, saying, “Thank you to everyone who worked together to make this beautiful relationship possible.” It’s also worth noting that the agency never confirmed the tour. Regardless, fans are hoping that the allegations are false and that the group will still hold the tour and release new music.
Whatever happens, we hope the rumoured delay isn’t long and that fans can still celebrate F4’s 25th anniversary with new music and a new tour next year. What are your thoughts on this?
