There’s a new concert venue in the Klang Valley, and it has already confirmed its first K-Pop event! Introducing the Inspire Live Arena, the new multi-functional venue located in IOI Mall Damansara with easy MRT access.
Over the weekend, Inspire Live Arena opened its doors, making its debut as Malaysia’s newest indoor multi-functional hall. The venue is located on the 3A Floor of IOI Mall Damansara, which also boasts direct MRT access via the Kajang Line (Surian MRT Station). The venue is developed and operated by Superstar Arena Holding Sdn Bhd, the same team behind Idea Live Arena.
According to the official website, the venue can hold over 5,000 people at a time, in seated and standing configurations. The automated retractable seating system can also transform the main floor to adapt to any event format, including concerts and exhibitions. Thanks to its location inside IOI Mall Damansara, Inspire Live Arena also has access to a wide range of dining, retail and accommodation options.
Following its official launch, Inspire Live Arena has confirmed its first event. iMe Malaysia has announced that Idol Radio Live in Kuala Lumpur will take place at the venue on 3rd October 2026 (Saturday). Idol Radio Live is the offline concert series hosted by MBC Radio’s “Idol Radio” radio show. The programme is currently hosted by The Boyz (더보이즈) members Sunwoo (선우) and Eric (에릭).
iMe Malaysia will announce the artist lineup at a later date. However, based on previous Idol Radio Live concerts, the lineup will include the show’s hosts and several other K-Pop groups. Past performers include The Boyz, P1Harmony (피원하모니), izna (이즈나), 2PM (투피엠) and Highlight (하이라이트). Fans can also expect special stages and solo performances from the hosts.
