It’s official, I.O.I (아이오아이) fans! After hints from news outlets, the artists’ agencies and the members themselves, the girl group has confirmed plans to make a comeback later this year to celebrate their tenth anniversary!
Earlier today (Monday, 23rd February 2026), SWING Entertainment spoke about I.O.I’s reunion, confirming that the group is making a comeback this May. The agency, which previously managed the girl group from their debut until their disbandment, will take full charge of their management and oversee their activities throughout their anniversary reunion. Here’s what we know about the project:
All But Two Members Will Join Comeback Promotions

According to SWING Entertainment, nine out of eleven members will join the reunion. The agency explained that members Kang Mina (강미나) and Zhou Jieqiong (Ju Kyulkyung/주결경) are unable to participate in comeback activities due to unavoidable circumstances and individual commitments.
The Album Is Currently In The Works

For their reunion project, I.O.I will release a new album, rather than a digital single as previously reported. SWING Entertainment revealed that the nine active members are currently preparing for the release, which is set for release in May. The group will also hold promotional activities for the new album.
The Group Will Hold A Reunion Concert & Tour Asia

In addition to promotional activities for their album, I.O.I will also hold a reunion concert in Seoul, followed by an Asia tour. While there aren’t many details on the tour yet, this marks the group’s first tour in their career. I.O.I’s only concert was the “Time Slip – I.O.I” concert, held to commemorate the end of their one-year tenure.
SWING Entertainment will unveil more details about the reunion project in the near future, including album information and release schedule. Meanwhile, fans have expressed excitement about the comeback news. Are you ready for I.O.I’s return?
