Do you hear that “Signal”? TWICE is calling out for you!
After weeks of teasing, the girl group has finally dropped the music video for “Signal”, the title track off their 4th extended play of the same name.
For this comeback, Park Jin Young, the founder of JYP Entertainment, has personally composed the song and written the lyrics for their title track. Although the singer-cum-producer often produces songs for his label’s artistes, this marks the first time he is working with TWICE.
Aside from their title track, the album also contains 5 other tracks. They are “Three Times A Day (하루에 세번)”, “Only You (Only 너)”, “Hold Me Tight”, “Eye Eye Eyes”, and “Someone Like Me”.
The album also contains a surprise for fans, as Jihyo and Chaeyoung wrote the lyrics for their 5th track, “Eye Eye Eyes”. Jihyo, who was suffering from a knee injury, has rejoined the group for activities as well!
For this comeback, the girls took on the concept of aliens coming from outer space. They gained superpowers and try their best to send a signal to a blue-headed extraterrestrial being. Psst, look out for their ultra cool colour lenses, because it totally mesmerised us!
This time round, TWICE will also be participating heavily in variety shows. They’ve already recorded for 4 shows, with their episodes of “I Can See Your Voice”, “Weekly Idol”, “Knowing Bros”, and “Top 3 Chef King” slated to be broadcasted in the following weeks.
