The shining boys of SHINee are back with an emotional R&B track that has taken our hearts away.
Though it wasn’t too long ago that the 5-member idol boy group dropped their retro comeback album, “1 of 1”, fans would be delighted to know that their new track, “Tell Me What To Do”, is a crowd pleaser.
“Tell Me What To Do” places focus on the boys’ vocals and it is described as “a medium tempo emotional R&B track with an EDM element”. The lyrics depicts a couple in a long-term relationship trying to overcome the difficulties they face. It could be just us but after listening to the song, we think that the song has a heavy 90s boy band vibe to it. Think Backstreet Boys and NSYNC.
The music video is mainly set in an old abandoned building, starring the boys and an actress. This is what we got from watching it a few times:
“A group of young, rebellious troublemakers stay together in an old building and Taemin is in love with Minho’s girlfriend. After an argument between the 2 friends, Minho leaves with his beau. When he turns on the engine, the car explodes.”

SHINee’s repackaged album contains 9 songs from their 5th full album “1 of 1” and additional 5 tracks including “Wish Upon a Star” (별빛 바램), “Beautiful Life” (한마디), “Rescue”, and “If You Love Her”.
