Jun.K is back again, this time with an emotional ballad.
Less than 6 months after the release of his first full solo album “Mr. NO♡“, the 2PM member made public the music video for his pre-release track “Your Wedding (결혼식)” at midnight today (Wednesday, 4th January). The song will be included in his upcoming self-composed album, titled “77-1X3-00”.
With lyrics like “I see you come in through the door / you’re walking slowly towards me / No, you’re walking towards someone else“, “The scene was supposed to be us / what we dreamed of“, and “Everyone’s smiling but I tear silently“, the track will make you shed a tear or two.
Although the music video did not feature Jun.K himself, the singer has enlisted the help of fellow 2PM member Nichkhun and label mate Nayeon (from TWICE). Contrary to his usual flashy music videos, the latest one is stripped down and is shot in black-and-white. The simplicity helps portray the emotions of Nichkhun, who can be seen pining after his lost love, who is getting married to another man.

Jun.K, who legally changed his name from Junsu to Minjun in 2012, debuted in 2008 with 2PM. After his debut, he had several original soundtracks under his belt, but it wasn’t until 2011 when he released his debut solo single “Alive”. The release was fairly successful, and he subsequently had several activities and albums in Japan, propelling him to stardom in the country.
“77-1X3-00” is due to be released on 12th January.
