“Monster rookie” K-Pop idol girl group BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) recently visited KBS Cool FM’s “Lee Hongki’s Kiss the Radio” show as part of their promotional activities.
During their appearance, the girls paid homage to their YG Entertainment “sunbaes” (seniors), BIGBANG, when they covered their multiple award-winning song, “Loser”.
“Loser”, the first single off BIGBANG’s “MADE” and “MADE Series: M”, was released in 2015, marking the first music release for the group since 2012. It was awarded “Golden Disc Award Song Division” and “Golden Disc Award Song of the Year” in 2016. The original song currently has over 136,000,000 views on YouTube.
Although BLACKPINK appeared nervous covering “Loser”, we gotta give them an “A” for effort as they pulled off harmonising pretty well! And that’s not all. BLACKPINK also performed their latest single, “As If It’s Your Last” (마지막처럼), on KBS Cool FM’s “Lee Hongki’s Kiss the Radio” show. Daebak! 🙂
