The new trailer for Kate Upton and Alexandra Daddario raunchy road-trip comedy is out and it is hilarious. Directed by veteran actor William H. Macy, who previously directed “Rudderless” (2014), “The Layover” is penned by David Hornsby and Lance Krall, who have worked on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”.
While Daddario (of “True Detective” and “Baywatch” fame) plays goody two shoes Kate, Upton (of “The Other Woman” fame) takes on the role of Kate’s sexy and outgoing best friend Meg. The film follows the 2 unemployed friends as they go on a vacation in Florida. However, their friendship is put to the test when they fight over Ryan (played by Matt Barr), a hot guy who sat between them on the plane.
From skimpy bathing suits to slutty dances in the club, there’s nothing the 2 friends wouldn’t do to win the affection of the guys of their dreams.
Slated for a cinematic release on 1st September, “The Layover”, which is being distributed by Vertical Entertainment and DIRECTV, also stars Macy, Matt L. Jones, Rob Corddry, Kal Penn (of “Designated Survivor” fame), and Molly Shannon.
