Has ScarJo found a new beau?
A source told E! News that “Rough Night” actress Scarlett Johansson and “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) writer Colin Jost are dating. “Colin and Scarlett are dating and having fun. They are still getting to know each other, but she is really into him and it’s getting more on the exclusive level,” said the source.
Meanwhile, another insider shared that the busy actress has “cut out time to see Colin numerous times”.
Johansson and Jost, who had celebrated his birthday just one day earlier, were spotted “looking cozy on a love seat” at The Palm in East Hampton, New York over the weekend. This came weeks after the actress was photographed holding hands with her high-profile entertainment lawyer, Kevin Yorn.
A source explained that the 2 stars share many similarities together. “Scarlett says he is different than many of the men she has been with. She is pretty picky who she goes out with even if it’s just dating,” said the source.
Furthermore, another source told the media outlet that they have been seeing each other casually.
So how did the new couple came to be?
According to Page Six, the 32-year-old actress appeared on “SNL” last season as a host and after being a special guest on May’s season finale, she was spotted getting “hot and heavy” with Jost at the afterparty. They were later spotted dining together at The East Pole restaurant in the Big Apple.
“Scarlett and Colin were flirting and canoodling in full view of everyone at the afterparty,” said an insider.
In January, Johansson and her French husband Romain Dauriac filed for divorce after 2 years of marriage. The Hollywood star and French journalist-turned-advertising executive share a daughter, 2-year-old Rose Dorothy.
She was also previously married to “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2010.
