“Keeping up with the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband Kanye West welcomed a new son to their family on Saturday (5th December) morning.
And now, after much anticipation, the couple has finally revealed the name of their son – Saint West.
In the post, it was also mentioned that their son weighed in at 8 lbs. 1 oz., and that they decided on the name towards the end of Kim’s pregnancy.
Over the summer, there were speculations that Kim and Kanye were going to name their newborn son Easton. There were also rumours that they were going to name their son South West.
But according to Kim, that was not an option. In an interview with NPR, the reality star said:
I don’t like South West, though, because that’s like, you know, North will always, you know, be better and be more…she has a better direction.
“So I wouldn’t do that. I don’t think we’ll go with another direction“, she added.

On 5th December, Kim posted on her website stating that she has given birth to her baby boy.
The statement on Kim’s website reads:
Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed the arrival of their son this morning. Mother and son are doing well.
As far as we know, her son Saint doesn’t have a middle name yet. Word has it that Saint’s middle name would be Robert, which is the name of Kim’s late father, Robert Kardashian.
