Earlier last week, we reported that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian have welcomed a healthy baby girl on Wednesday (16th December). However, at the time, the pair did not announce the name of the baby.
Now, according to E! Online, Dwayne and his girlfriend have finally revealed the face and the name of their first child.
The WWE wrestler-turned-actor revealed the face of the newborn baby by posting the first picture of his baby girl on his Instagram account. His daughter’s name was revealed to be Jasmine. The picture was captioned:
Christmas came early! Within minutes of being born she was laying on daddy’s chest. And being a grateful man takes on a whole new meaning.Thank you guys so much for the awesome congratulatory wishes and love you’ve been sending @laurenhashianofficial and myself. We’re extremely grateful.
“Kinda crazy but in this cool and powerful skin to skin bonding moment with my newborn baby Jasmine, I had just one wish I asked the universe… Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday. If I can accomplish that, then I’d have a good shot at being a great father“, he added.

Recently, the “Furious 7” actor confirmed that he would star in “Moana”, Disney’s latest animated project, as well as the live-action action of “Jungle Cruise”. It is unclear if the name was inspired by the “Aladdin” character Princess Jasmine, but a source told Radar Online that the couple was really happy.
An insider said: “Dwayne, Lauren, and their families are over the moon! They can’t wait to spend Christmas with their brand new daughter!” Dwayne also has a 14-year-old daughter named Simone from his ex-wife Dany Garcia.
Congratulations to Dwayne and Lauren. We are sure that Jasmine will grow up as pretty as her mom and as tough as her daddy 😉
