Siti Hafizah, mother of controversial actor Aliff Aziz, infamous for his cheating scandals, recently responded to hate comments directed at her and her family on social media. In a post on Instagram, she addressed a particularly offensive message that compared her to a dog and included baseless accusations about her son.
The post is a screenshot of the hate message which states, “Oi! You and your child really behave like dogs, right? You wear a hijab but behave like a dog. It’s no wonder your child acts like a dog, it’s because his mom acts like a dog too. Your whole family should go to hell. For all we know, your beloved Aliff already has HIV!”
In her response, Siti maintained a calm and composed demeanour, stating, ”Alhamdullilah, keep going if this makes you happy. I will continue to pray that Allah will bless you and your family.” She also extended empathy towards the families of those responsible for the comments saying, “I’m sure your parents would feel sad if they read your words, and I’m confident they are good people.” She further reflected on the consequences of such actions in the afterlife, hinting at spiritual repercussions for those who engage in online abuse.
Previously, Siti went on a two month hiatus on social media only to return on Friday, 14th June to express her gratitude because Allah has given her and her family peace. She also thanked all parties for their support throughout her son’s divorce case with her former daughter-in-law, Bella Astillah. “Alhamdulillahirrobbilalamin, on this blessed Thursday we thank Allah for making all matters easy and giving peace to us as a family. All that is good is from Allah and the opposite is a mistake from us who are weak and imperfect. To those of you who always pray for us masya-Allah, only Allah can repay you for your good deeds and to the contrary, we also say tabarakallah,” she said.
Previously, Siti Hafizah’s open support for her son has stirred controversy among netizens, particularly due to her social media posts that appeared to defend Aliff Aziz’s innocence despite his involvement in scandals. While her actions reflect typical maternal love and support, many netizens criticised her for seemingly ignoring her son’s behaviour.
On the other hand, Aliff Aziz offered a different perspective during a podcast on TheCommonFolks SG. He remarked, “All I can say is that Umi (Siti) does not back me up. I think, as a mother, she may see that her son’s life is falling apart. So, what do outsiders expect my mother to do? Allow me to share a little of her character, Umi is the kind of person who if her child does something wrong, it’s wrong and Bella knows this.” Watch the full podcast here:
