Malaysia’s national football team goalkeeper Syihan Hazmi has drawn the attention of netizens due to his good looks. Harimau Malaya’s recent game and victory over Bangladesh on Tuesday (14th June) also contributed to his sudden rise to fame.
The unexpected interest in the married 26-year-old came after a netizen shared a clip of the game focusing on Syihan on TikTok, which has accumulated over eight hundred thousand views so far. His Instagram page spiked to sixteen thousand followers since Tuesday, from over nine thousand before he went viral.

Netizens and new fans of course cannot help themselves but compliment the national squad goalkeeper for his good looks. Some even took too far, and posted comments that make them seem like they’re thirsting for the father of two.
Netizens commented, “This is my husband“, “Congratulations, baby“, claiming Syihan as their significant other. “The good looking ones are usually taken“, “The goalkeeper is handsome“, “He has a kid already, my dream is crushed,” more netizens added.
Syihan is married to Nabila Syakirin, founder of cosmetic company BieyBeauty. They also have a daughter and a son together. Nabila is aware of the attention her husband receives and has commented on the matter. “Of course they (someone else’s husband) are good-looking. When you get married, if you take care of your husband properly, he will be as just good-looking too,” she posted on her Instagram story in reply to a netizen.
Nabila added another update on her Instagram story that while she understands the netizens’ well intentions, her family is her backbone and she gets motivation from them. “My husband and I have been through ups and downs together. We know what it feels like (to struggle). I have done my best, and the rest is out of my hands“, she added.
