“Happy Home” co-stars Lee Sang Woo (이상우) and Kim So Yeon (김소연) are getting married!
According to KBS World, the couple’s parents will meet on 28th March to discuss marriage plans. It was also reported that they plan to hold their wedding in mid-June.
In a joint statement, the stars’ labels, HM Entertainment and Namoo Actors, said:
“The couple has decided to get married. They first met through MBC drama ‘Happy Home’ as colleagues and entered a serious relationship as they supported and cheered each other on. Through their love and trust for each other, they have now promised to be each other’s lifelong companions. We will announce the details once they’ve been set. Please congratulate Lee Sang Woo and Kim So Yeon’s new start in creating a new family, and give them your attention and encouragement.”
The couple announced their relationship in September 2016. In “Happy Home”, Lee and Kim played onscreen lovers Seo Ji Gun and Bong Hae Ryung respectively. The drama also earned them the male and female High Excellence Awards in the Serial Drama category at the 2016 MBC Drama Awards.
