Rosa Verde – The New Feel-Good Fragrance

Composed by Guerlain perfumer Delphine Jelk, Rosa Verde conveys the feel-good effect of a spontaneous dive. The delicious frisson of skin suddenly plunging into cool water. An invigorating, incredibly bracing sensation. Back on the surface, effervescence gradually gives way to calm. The water and the body become peaceful in unison. In the gentle lapping of the waves, a feeling of total plenitude takes hold. Pleasure for the mind and senses combined.
A Guerlain icon and a flower with countless fragrant facets, rose reveals its most radiant facets at the heart of Delphine Jelk’s composition. To convey the “pick-me-up” feeling of diving into cool water, the Guerlain perfumer has created an extremely realistic, almost thirst-quenching cucumber extract. An equally surprising yet obvious pairing for rose essence, which gradually unfolds on skin, blending the natural freshness of its petals with cucumber’s botanical and aquatic facets, highlighted with a touch of mint.
Mild and delicate, the queen of flowers lastingly melts into a tender, soothing fragrance trail, faceted by the mischievous softness of a pear note and mellowed by a white musk accord.
Fragrances are nowadays studied by science to measure the reactions they cause in the brain and the connection between perfumes and emotions. Guided by its pioneering spirit, Guerlain is exploring the emotions aroused by the fragrances in its iconic collection through the prism of science for the first time. Custom-created, a Science of the Emotions protocol has been established to define the emotional benefits of the Rosa Verde perfume, combining physiological measurements based on electroencephalography and measuring breathing rhythm, along with psychometric measurements to evaluate emotions.
A symbol of this innovative approach, the Rosa Verde perfume offers an instant feeling of pleasure and relaxation. Its equally refreshing and caressing green floral notes have been created by Delphine Jelk to fully capture the feel-good effect of diving into cool water.
Mandarine Basilic

A cool breeze caresses the face, bringing the zesty aromas of the citrus gardens that line the coast. Juicy and tangy mandarin exudes the luminous fragrance of its peel. Given a sophisticated touch through the slightly aniseed freshness of basil, Italy’s iconic herb, its fruity notes fill the heart with a surge of joy. An ode to spontaneity and life.
Florabloom
Discovering this landscape that seems to have come straight from a dream, an irrepressible smile spreads across the face and heart. In the desert, the sand of the dunes has been turned into a bed of yellow, green, blue, purple and pink flowers. An explosion of colour and life. A real miracle. Rosa Rossa
In the freshness of a May morning, a perfect calm reigns in the rose garden. Gentle rays of sunlight bring a sparkle to the flowers still covered in dew. This is the time when they release their most beautiful scent, like a secret they keep for early risers. Rosa Rossa depicts this feeling of serenity, in communion with resplendent nature. In this almost meditative state, the mind awakens to all the nuances of the scent of roses. It discerns its fruity notes of blackcurrant and lychee. The delicately powdery accents of its petals which linger on skin in the gentle elegance of sandalwood.
Designed to last, AQUA ALLEGORIA’s bottles are refillable, as was its model in times gone by, the Bee Bottle created 170 years ago by Guerlain’s long-standing partner Pochet du Courval.
The spray unscrews by hand, allowing the bottle to be replenished with an easy-to-use 200-ml refill, featuring an anti-drop system compatible with all sizes (75 ml and 125 ml).
