DAI5Ys (as fans of Girl’s Day are lovingly known), rejoice!
As promised, DreamTea Entertainment has released the music video for Girl’s Day’s (걸스데이) “I’ll Be Yours” (아윌비유얼즈) at 12pm KST on Monday (27th March).
Written by Ryan Jhun (who penned Lee Hyori’s “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, I.O.I’s “Whatta Man”, and Taeyeon’s “I”), “I’ll Be Yours” is the title track for the girls’ new mini album, titled “Everyday #5”. The jazzy yet infectious new number is about a woman’s bold confession to a man she loves.
“Wait a minute/ I’ll be yours/ Baby I’ll be yours/ Like the honey that drips from your eyes/ I’ll tell you more sweetly/ I’ll be yours,” sings Minah in the chorus.
The colourful music video features some powerful dance sequences in 2 different settings – a glamorous room with chandeliers and an industrial warehouse. Member Yuran can also be seen playing a piano that’s on fire.

Girl’s Day’s “Everyday #5” consists of 7 tracks including “Thristy”, Sojin’s solo “Kumbaya” (Come By Here), “Love Again”, Minah’s solo “Truth”, “Don’t Be Shy”, and the instrumental version of “I’ll Be Yours”. This marks the girls’ first release since “Love” in July 2015.
