Located in Maluri, this eatery has been operating for almost 17 years. Just like a normal steamboat, the pumpkin porridge steamboat comes with a variety of ingredients such as seafood, meatballs, veggies, pork and fish slices and more. The best part of this steamboat is the porridge, which is slightly thicker than rice and has the natural sweetness from the pumpkin. For added flavour, add on the Sarawak white pepper. There’s also other delicious dishes available, like mantao bun with butter sauce, fried butter with butter sauce, Cantonese fried noodles and many more.

The new macaron ice cream is available in two amazing flavours: Double Chocolate Ganache (velvety chocolate ice cream with pieces of chocolate macaroons and a surprisingly salty black chocolate sauce) and Strawberry & Raspberry (delicious strawberry ice cream with pieces of strawberry macaroons and surprising raspberry sauce).

A post shared by KLCG Confectionery & Bakery (@klcgconfectionerybakery)

KLCG Confectionery & Bakery was born out of Lee’s family love for sharing handcrafted pastries and delicacies since 1957. Inspired by artisanal neighbourhood shops from all corners of the globe, KLCG is committed to craftsmanship and a sense of community. This spot serves fresh croissants, delicate pastries, and friendly smiles, that’ll be sure to brighten up every part of your day.

Their latest edition to the menu is the Gelato Mochi Croissant. A year ago, KLCG’s Supreme Croissant went viral for its disc-shaped flakey croissant filled with rich cream. But this time, instead of cream, the Supreme 2.0 is filled with rich house-made gelato wrapped in chewy mochi. It’s more like an ice cream sandwich that’s definitely the best treat during a hot sunny day. The Supreme 2.0 comes in two flavours, Chocolate Mochi Supreme and Pistachio Mochi Supreme. Be sure to give this one-of-a-kind pastry creation a try.

A must-try here are their croffles. Similar to Llao Llao’s concept, you can pair your croffles with their soft ice cream and more than 30 toppings offered at the counter. The croffles are freshly made upon order and have a crispy texture on the outside, but are soft and fluffy on the inside. Besides croffles, Perfect Ice is a milkshake specialist.

The milkshakes served are thick and creamy, unlike any other milkshake you’ve tasted. You can’t detect any ice chunks because of how smoothly they’re blended. The milkshakes come in flavours such as chocolate, strawberry, coffee, cookie vanilla, green tea and many more. Besides sweet treats, Perfect Ice also serves Korean street food and hot meals.
