1. Chloë Grace Moretz & Kate Harrison
After officially coming out as gay a few months ago, Chloë Grace Moretz has seemingly confirmed her engagement to long-term model girlfriend Kate Harrison in an Instagram post for New Year’s. The couple were seen holding hands near the ocean, showing off matching rings on their ring fingers. If that’s not confirmation, we don’t know what is.
2. Jay Shih & Wife
Taiwanese actor-singer Jay Shih (是元介) announced his marriage on Instagram on New Year’s Day to his girlfriend of two years, who is reported to also be his agent. To this day, her identity remains unknown to the public. From the photos the star posted, the couple appear to have spent their honeymoon in Rome. “I am married and starting a new phase. Thank you for being in my life my wife, I will continue to look after you and love you,” he wrote in his captions.
3. Hiroshi Kamiya & Rina Aizawa
Renowned Japanese voice actor Hiroshi Kamiya (神谷 浩史), known for his role as Levi Ackerman in “Attack On Titan” is officially married to actress Rina Aizawa (逢沢 りな). On New Year’s Eve, both stars made the announcement through their respective agencies with the latter also sharing the news on her Instagram page saying, “Though I am still learning, I will not forget my appreciation for those who have supported me. I will strive to bring smiles to everyone’s faces. I hope you will continue to watch over us warmly. Thank you for your support.”
4. Yuya Hirose & Wife
On the same day, another Japanese actor shared the exciting news of his marriage to his non-celebrity girlfriend. Yuya Hirose (裕也), known for his role as Haruka Isumi in “IDOLiSH7” and Takuya Yamamoto in “Tokyo Revenger”, posted on Twitter saying, “I am happy to share that I have gotten married. My partner is someone who is not in the public eye. Moving forward, I will continue to put my all into acting, singing, and variety shows, and work hard every day to improve. I will always remain grateful for the support I have received from all of you.”
