Although some may have concerns about this year’s Good Vibes Festival, especially after what happened last year, fans are still excited to attend the event that will be taking place later this July at Resorts World Awana (GHPO Bus Parking) in Genting. Ever since the announcement, everyone has been eager to know about the lineup and who will be headlining for this 2-day music festival.

Yesterday (Wednesday, 8th May), Good Vibes Festival officially announced the lineup and we couldn’t be more excited. While there are many exciting performers to look forward to, we noticed a number of Korean acts and Japanese who will be performing at this year’s festival.

As seen in the poster above, here are the Korean and Japanese acts that will take the stage at this year’s Good Vibes Festival:

  • K-pop idol BIBI (비비)
  • Husband and wife duo Tiger JK (서정권) & Yoon Mi-rae (윤미래)
  • DJ Peggy Gou (페기 구)
  • Japanese-born singer Joji (ジョージ)

For your information, this will be Peggy Gou’s second time in Malaysia and Joji’s first after cancelling his concert last year. Apart from these exciting Asian artists, these are some of the big international stars who will also take the stage at this year’s show:

  • American singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin
  • UK singer Henry Moodie
  • Columbian singer J Balvin
  • American Rapper Russ

If you ask us, we’re personally more excited to see Alec Benjamin taking the stage again. After attending his concert in Kuala Lumpur 2 years ago, we’re looking forward to hear new materials from him this time around. If we have to pick a local act, it has to be Spooky Wet Dreams. Their unique genre-fluid sound has always left us wanting more.
