Following its thrilling debut last year, Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week is officially making its highly anticipated return to Malaysia for a second round. Running from 22nd to 27th April 2025, this year’s edition promises an even more impressive lineup than before.
We won’t give too much away just yet, but rest assured—you’ll be rubbing shoulders with some of the world’s finest bars and bartenders all the way from Tokyo to Mexico City. The event will divide KL into five cocktail zones—Bangsar, PJ/TTDI, Damansara Heights, Chinatown, and KL City Centre, each hosting unique experiences. From cocktail dinners to a grand Festival Village, here’s a breakdown of what to expect at this years KLCW:
KL Cocktail Week is here to shine a spotlight on Malaysia’s vibrant mixology scene aims to unite drinks enthusiasts from across the region. More than that, the event also hopes to inspire a new wave of cocktail lovers alongside 27 top international bars—including renowned names such as Handshake Speakeasy, Jigger & Pony, and Bar Leone, which will host exclusive one-night takeovers at some of Kuala Lumpur’s most popular venues.
This week-long celebration has plenty in store for everyone. Those looking to tick off legendary bars from their boozy bucket lists can look forward to an impressive lineup of guest shifts and bar takeovers. Food lovers, on the other hand, might discover their next unforgettable dining experience through the series of cocktail-pairing dinners. A selection of cocktail-pairing dinners will be held in collaboration with some of the city’s top restaurants, including Akâr, Beta, and ESCA.
If you are keen to dive deeper into the dynamic world of bartending and hospitality, you can attend the insightful seminars scheduled throughout the week. The seminars are led by renowned names in the mixology and hospitality industry, such as Hadrien Moudoulaud and Philip Bischoff.
