To finally resign after working with someone for years can be difficult especially when you have a special bond together. It’s not uncommon for both employers and employees to be sad over one’s resignation but we all know when it’s time to move on to do other (and possibly better) things.
After what happened with her former assistant (and ex-lover) Iqbal Zulkefli, you’d think that there would be no other drama between Dato Seri Vida and her other employees. Well, you thought wrong. Recently, her personal assistant of 12 years resigned to become a singer but something must have happened between the two as one of them is blocked by the other on social media.

Dato Seri Vida’s former personal assistant Diyla Jazz posted a video on her TikTok exposing the millionaire for blocking her on social media. According to the video post above, the “Khilaf” singer has no idea what could’ve made the entrepreneur cut her off completely, claiming that the two had no quarrels.
“Thank you for everything DSV. May you be blessed always. If becoming enemies with me makes you happy then by all means…” she captioned the TikTok post. Talk about Deja Vu. The drama came just a week after Diyla announced her resignation to the world. Prior to this, the new singer posted 2 videos thanking the 51-year-old for the opportunities and remembering all the good times they had together.
Netizens commented on her most recent video saying that this all seemed too familiar. Some accused the former assistant of doing this for publicity to promote her new song to which she denied the allegations. Others actually came to Dato Vida’s defense saying that Diyla may have jumped to conclusions too fast.
At the time of writing, Dato Seri Vida has yet to release a statement on her former assistant’s post on TikTok. Whatever the case, we hope that history does not repeat itself and that it was all just a misunderstanding.
