You know those really awkward moments when you run into an ex-friend, employer or lover? You could cut the tension with a knife especially if things didn’t end on a good note the last time. It’s probably even worse if you are forced to work together cause you’ll be facing each other for a while and you can’t avoid each other that easily.
It’s never easy facing an ex but sometimes you have to keep cool, be professional and not let your emotions get to you. Easier said than done, so we can only imagine how Dato Seri Vida felt when she had no choice but to face a familiar face when she was on set for a project.
Malaysian Cosmetic entrepreneur Dato Seri Vida posted a video on her Instagram last night (Monday, 8th August) with the caption, “I DID NOT EXPECT THIS TO HAPPEN ON SET!”. In the video, we can see the 50-year-old reunited with her former personal assistant (and ex-lover) singer Iqbal Zulkefli on set for the comedy-horror movie “Gui”.
It may not have been the most heartwarming reunion but the celebrity businesswoman said that she had to stay professional. “I have to keep it professional, I can’t just lash out on set,” she said in the video post. The mother-of-four then walked onto set to find the “Hujan” singer getting ready for the scene. Throughout most of the video, the two exes barely made eye contact with each other.
According to the entrepreneur, she even asked Iqbal if he’s still waiting for her. Netizens found the whole thing amusing and applauded the “I Am Me” singer for her professionalism and not letting her emotions get to her while on set. Some even wished that the two would get back together.
For your information, this is the first time that Dato Seri Vida and Iqbal Zulkefli have seen each other after the two ended their relationship last year. In an exclusive interview with Murai, the multimillionaire shared that she’s been living her best life following the breakup.
